Dr. Heather Davis

Veterinarian

Dr. Heather Davis is a local from Benton, Tennessee who found her passion for mixed animal medicine at an early age. She continued building her knowledge throughout her doctorate at Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated in 2024. Shortly after graduation, she began working for Community Animal Hospital.

During her undergrad in 2020, Dr. Davis completed a unique senior thesis study on Canine Obesity at Maryville College. Through her experiences in both the classroom and at Community, she has gained a specific interest in geriatrics preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and theriogenology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Davis enjoys a day either fishing or playing golf. She has developed a green thumb in gardening and stretches herself creatively with crafting. Overall, she loves relaxing with her husband and son. She and her husband are loving pet parents to a set of cats (Rocky and Lucy), three dogs (Ruby, Ripp and Rambo), and a couple of chickens to rule the roost.
